Pre-Assessment Nurse

We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic Pre-Assessment Nurses to work within our Pre-Assessment department at Rivers Hospital.
Rivers Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. Located on the Herts & Essex border, easily accessible from London and the Home Counties. The hospital opened in 1992, equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, maintaining very high clinical standards. We are passionate about quality care throughout the hospital.
The Role
The successful Nurse will undertake pre-operative assessment of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialties. The key focus is to ensure patients are physically and psychologically prepared for planned procedures, with appropriate information provision and identification of potential discharge concerns.
What you'll bring with you
* NMC Registration
* Specialised post-surgery experience preferred but not essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to act on own initiative without supervision
