Job Description
We are working with a fantastic primary school in Harlow that is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with SEMH needs.
This role would suit someone who can quickly build strong, positive relationships. The child responds particularly well to individuals who share interests such as sports and video games, so a naturally engaging and energetic approach is key.
This is a full-time position within a supportive primary school setting. As this is a 1:1 role, consistency is essential, and we are looking for someone available Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:45.
The position is permanent, beginning with an initial period of agency work and continuing into the new academic year.
We are looking for:
* Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience is desirable, but not essential)
* Valid Right To Work & contactable references
* DBS on the update servie or happy to apply for one
