We are working with a leading global property firm seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join their expanding team. You will play a key role in supporting the management of commercial properties, ensuring high-quality service delivery to both clients and tenants, while developing strong technical and financial expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Property & Client Management
* Respond to day-to-day tenant and client queries across managed portfolios in a timely and professional manner
* Act as a key point of contact for clients and tenants, resolving issues efficiently
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
* Assist with the onboarding and transition of new properties and portfolios
* Prepare for client meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed
* Support planning for key lease events, including rent reviews, lease expiries, and break options
Reporting & Data Management
* Prepare accurate client reports in line with agreed formats and deadlines
* Review and summarise lease documentation, ensuring key data is captured correctly
* Maintain and regularly audit property management systems to ensure data accuracy
* Complete administrative workflows, including updates for lease changes and new instructions
* Draft service charge budgets and assist with financial planning
* Prepare service charge reconciliations for senior review
* Monitor service charge cash flow and budget performance
* Manage tenant arrears proactively in collaboration with credit control teams
* Approve invoices and ensure correct cost coding in line with budgets
* Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and reporting processes
Key Skills & Experience
* Property management or property administration experience preferable
* Strong financial and analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Highly motivated with a proactive, “can do” attitude and a desire to learn and progress
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a wider team
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident communicator with a professional and persuasive manner
* Strong IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Adaptable, reliable, punctual and enthusiastic
