Are you passionate about History, Geography, or RE and eager to support young people in their learning? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Wythenshawe is seeking a Humanities Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic background in the humanities who enjoys helping students develop their critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions across Humanities subjects
* Support students in understanding key concepts and developing exam techniques
* Work closely with classroom teachers to tailor learning support
* Help students engage with curriculum content and improve confidence
* Track and report on student progress and engagement
Requirements:
* Strong academic background in Humanities (History, Geography, or RE preferred)
* Experience working with young people or in an educational setting
* Excellent communication skills and a patient, encouraging attitude
