The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
* Support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* Help to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Adapt resources and tasks to meet individual learning needs.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Offer pastoral support, helping to build students’ confidence and resilience.
* Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree (or is currently studying) – desirable but not essential.
* Has a genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
* Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Can work effectively as part of a team.
* Has experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
* Is considering a career in teaching, SEN, or educational psychology.
