GSL Education are currently seeking adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a day-to-day basis across schools in the Dunscroft area. As a TA, this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, have a flexible approach to education, and are keen to support pupils learning and well-being in different classroom environments.
Responsibilities
* Provide in-class support to the teacher, helping to manage classroom behaviour and encourage active learning.
* Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning objectives.
* Help set up classroom resources and assist with daily routines.
* Build positive relationships with pupils and staff, offering emotional and academic support.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
* A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting students.
* Ability to quickly adapt to new school environments and classroom dynamics.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
