Job Title: Waiter / Waitress (Part-Time)

Role Overview:
As a Waiter/Waitress at Bank de León, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience within a vibrant, Caribbean-inspired bar and restaurant setting. You will be responsible for providing attentive, friendly, and efficient table service while maintaining the venue’s premium atmosphere and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Service:
* Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional approach
* Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
* Serve food and beverages in a timely and presentable manner
* Create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for all guests
* Build rapport with customers and ensure a positive dining experience
Food & Beverage Knowledge:
* Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, including Caribbean dishes and drinks
* Make recommendations and upsell menu items, specials, and promotions
* Communicate clearly with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure order accuracy
Operations & Cleanliness:
* Set up and clear tables efficiently
* Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the floor area
* Assist with opening and closing duties
* Ensure all service areas meet hygiene and presentation standards
Teamwork & Communication:
* Work closely with bar staff, kitchen staff, and management
* Support colleagues during busy periods
* Communicate effectively to ensure smooth and timely service
Compliance & Standards:
* Follow all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
* Adhere to licensing laws and responsible service practices
* Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Skills & Requirements:
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible (evenings & weekends required)
Desirable:
* Previous hospitality or waiting experience
* Interest in food, drinks, and Caribbean culture
