Duties:
- Supporting and assisting the team members in preparing succesful bids
- Negotiating and obtaining best prices and quotes from suppliers/subcontractors
- Liase efficiently with clients, contractors and management
- Researching the cost of items i.e. materials, transport, labour etc.
- Working with the team to continually improve processes and capabilities
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Estimator/Surveyor is highly desirable
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
We would also consider someone with no qualifications and experience in estimating/surveying as a 'Trainee'.
