Overview
We are recruiting candidates to work in a special needs school situated in the East London/Islington/Liverpool Street area. We are looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant with experience supporting primary and secondary key stages. Personal care is required for this role. The role is an immediate start and would be long-term for the successful candidate with working hours 8:30am-4:00pm. The successful candidate will be paid to scale based on experience.
Locations
Primary site: Liverpool Street. Secondary site: Islington.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with special needs across primary and secondary key stages.
* Provide personal care as required.
* Collaborate with class teachers to support learning activities and behavioural expectations.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant (primary and secondary) or equivalent.
* Ability to provide personal care.
* Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks (DBS) and other mandatory compliance checks.
