<div><p>The role is for a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to work within a dynamic and supportive team. It will include arranging and coordinating assessments under the Mental Health Act 1983, adhering to all Mental Health legislation, the MH Act codes of practice and other related legislation. The candidate will screen MHA requests and act as a single point of access for all requests under the act.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>A vacancy for an enthusiastic and well‑motivated AMHP has arisen in the Mental Health Social Work team. The successful applicant will need to evidence experience in carrying out Mental Health Act (1983) assessments, and the appropriate qualifications to support this. The post‑holder will be responsible for assessing and arranging support for individuals under the Mental Health Act.
