Timberwise are expanding and now require a Preservation Sales Surveyor in the Cotswolds area. There will be a need to travel throughout the region.
Responsibilities
* Day to day surveying and contact with the clients through face to face surveys
* Development of a dedicated surveying area
* Selling the company's products and services
* Acting as technical liaison on all aspects of the products
* Effectively planning and prioritising workload
* Working 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday but you may at times need to work outside these hours
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Experience in timber and damp, waterproofing and / or property surveying capabilities
* Good knowledge of building construction
* A sales and development background, preferably in a similar product area
* A passion for sales and to be able to demonstrate enthusiasm in their role
* Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
* Experience of contract / site management
* Experience in liaising internally and externally on all technical matters
* A teamplayer with a can-do attitude and a willingness to succeed
* Hold the certificated Surveyor of Timber and Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB) and / or Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW). However, full in house and industry training and support will be offered to exceptional candidates with transferable skills.
