Early Years Practitioner – Coast Concrete Services

Acting Closing Date: Applications must be received by 29th of October 2025, 11:55pm. Temporary post up to one year. Hours: 18.5 hours per week, not term time. Work Pattern: Monday & Tuesday shifts 8am‑6pm and Wednesday morning. Salary: £17.72‑£18.21 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate and deliver a high quality early years provision.
* Support, nurture and develop children’s learning and well‑being.
* Work effectively with colleagues, parents/carers and external agencies.
* Respond to distressed behaviours using appropriate strategies.
Key Requirements
* Experience of working in an early years environment.
* Registration as a Practitioner with SSSC.
* Education: at least one of NNEB, HNC, SVQ 3 Children's Care Learning & Development, SVQ 3 Early Years Care & Education or BA Early Learning and Childcare (Graduate Apprentice).
* Strong communication, team working and safeguarding skills.
* Competence in supporting children with distressed behaviours.
