Warehouse Operative | Sevington | GB15785 4 on 4 off days YOUR ROLE Responsible for the day to day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers, to presentation for inspection, and reload on to trailers. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives Maintain the inspection environment following training COSHH Awareness following training Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices Champion a health and safety culture YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Logistics experience in a large fast moving environment Strong warehouse system experience A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work Experience of working to agreed targets Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading GOOD REASON TO JOIN As well as our competitive pay rates and superb training opportunities, we also offer a great working environment.
