Hours: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Varied shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank and public holidays)
Salary: £33,540 – £36,400 per year (depending on number of sleep-in shifts)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Children's Home Team Leader to join our team in Herne Bay. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, working closely with the management team to ensure the highest standards of care and positive childcare practices.
As part of our dedicated residential care team, you will help create a supportive, nurturing, and empowering environment for young people. Our goal is to build independence, encourage choice, and equip each individual with the skills they need to thrive and prepare for independent living.
In this role, you will:
* Provide a safe, warm, and supportive setting for residents
* Lead and support care staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
* Contribute to care plans, records, and reports
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people. To be considered, you must:
* Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Residential Care (Ofsted requirement)
* Have experience working with children and young people in an Ofsted-regulated home
* Demonstrate dedication to delivering outstanding, person-centred care
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS Certificate
