Are you a Technical Administrator with experience in parts identification and customer support?
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.
Responsibilities
* Identify parts across the full range of UK, Japanese, Singapore and Chinese built machines and perform related administration
* Sourcing parts and spares, placing orders and tracking delivery
* Take incoming calls from customers and field engineers, supporting with their queries and requests
* General administration including customer documents, special requests, quotes, orders and credit notes
* Arrange returns to suppliers
* Use spare parts software, including Parts Information Database
* Communicate with other Mazak Production plants
Essential Criteria
* Professional telephone manner
* Knowledge of Mazak products
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical manuals
* Team focused and able to meet the targets of the department
* Ability to manage a project through to completion
* Highly motivated and proactive
* Computer literate
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* The ability to learn quickly and apply into practice
Desirable Criteria
* An engineering background
* Previous experience in a similar role
* A knowledge of windows-based applications
* Flexible working approach to meet demand (to include overtime if required)

* Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
