We have an opportunity for a Lead Vehicle Damage Assessor to support this clients Bodyshop in Skelmersdale [Lancashire]. This role as Lead VDA at Skelmersdale [Lancashire] is also an opportunity for the right person to step up into site management with this business.
Responsibilities:
* Use your Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] skills to lead & develop a team of 4 other VDA's
* Prepare accurate, fair, and fully justified repair assessments using the latest repair methods
* Use Audatex confidently and maintain knowledge of GT Global
* Understand insurer and customer contracts to ensure compliance
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] / Estimator.
* Able to commute to the Skelmersdale [Lancashire] Bodyshop site
* Skilled in Audatex
* Strong communication skills for working with customers, insurers, and colleagues
* Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
