We're looking for a
Marketplace Manager
to take full ownership of our marketplace performance and drive profitable growth across key platforms.
Role Overview
You'll own
end-to-end marketplace performance
from revenue and contribution margin to advertising efficiency and listing optimisation.
This is a
high-impact role
where you'll work cross-functionally and lead regular partner meetings to stay ahead of platform trends, tools, and opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Growth & Commercial Performance
Own and deliver the marketplace growth plan
Drive sales through range expansion, pricing, promos & conversion improvements
Optimise product/channel mix to improve margin
Build weekly & monthly forecasts and track performance vs plan
Profitability & Advertising Management
Monitor gross margin, contribution, fees, returns & ad efficiency
Manage TACOS / ACOS targets with internal teams or agencies
Optimise bids, budgets, keywords & campaign structure
Plan promotions with clear ROI and margin guardrails
Listings & Content Optimisation (SEO + CVR)
Ensure all listings are fully optimised and compliant
Improve content quality in line with brand & platform best practice
Benchmark competitors and category trends
Partner with creative teams to deliver a content roadmap
Marketplace Partner & Account Management
Lead weekly/monthly/QBR meetings with marketplace contacts
Stay ahead of trading events, new tools & platform updates
Resolve issues quickly (suppression, policy, chargebacks, alerts)
Turn insights into clear commercial actions
Operational & Cross-Functional Execution
Work with supply chain to maintain strong in-stock rates
Partner with finance on P&L, forecasting & budgets
Collaborate with customer service to protect account health
Maintain clear documentation and action plans

ACOS / TACOS performance
Traffic, conversion rate & share of voice
Listing quality & suppression rate
In-stock rate & lost sales reduction

Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience managing major marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, etc.)
Strong commercial mindset revenue
and
profitability focus
Deep understanding of listing SEO & conversion optimisation
Data-driven with strong reporting & forecasting skills (Excel/Sheets; Power BI a bonus)
Confident running external partner meetings
Highly organised and able to deliver at pace
