What will be my core responsibilities?
Working with a key client to provide a comprehensive Fire Door maintenance service across the Portsmouth area, ensuring all legislation requirements are met and the quality of work is to the client’s satisfaction.
 * Work with an experienced Fire Door Engineer to carry out maintenance of Fire Doors for a large hospitality client ensuring all works meet building regs and current legislation and are completed within the required SLA’s.
 * Help assess each job and produce a quote detailing hours required and materials
 * Field any technical specification queries from the client and seek guidance and information from the Engineer to answer these queries.
 * Support the Engineer with the certification process ensuring it meets required standards and provide paperwork for the clients records.
 * Update the job log with notes and upload relevant documentation.
 * Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid the invoicing process
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
 * Working towards an NVQ Level 2 in carpentry
 * Some knowledge of current Fire Door legislation and able to certify works
 * Good communicator, able to work successfully with both internal and external stakeholders
 * Able to produce clear and professional notes and emails
 * A problem solving mindset, with a practical application
