Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in various NHS Trusts across England. This role is essential in supporting healthcare professionals and delivering high-quality patient care, contributing significantly to our mission of improving health outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care needs
* Support nursing staff in delivering patient-centered care
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
* Help implement care plans under the supervision of qualified staff
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
* Participate in training and development opportunities
* Uphold the values and standards of NHS Professionals.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role is preferred
* Understanding of care plans and patient needs
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes
* A compassionate approach to patient care
* Flexibility to work varied shifts across different locations.
