Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Ayrshire
Hours: Monday–Friday, Dayshift – Early finishes on Friday

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team on a dayshift pattern that offers excellent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and mechanical repairs across all areas of the plant.
* Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities, equipment upgrades, and reliability‑focused projects.
* Conduct mechanical inspections, strip‑downs, refurbishments, and overhauls.
* Lead and support job change overs, ensuring tooling, machinery, and mechanical equipment are correctly adjusted, aligned, and prepared for production.
* Support long‑term maintenance planning and reliability initiatives.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

* Time-served Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical fault‑finding, fitting, and maintenance skills.
