Role Overview
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business across Scotland, with a focus on Glasgow and Edinburgh. This is a home-based role with excellent earning potential, supported by a strong commission scheme.
Selling B2B insurance and financial services solutions to SME clients, you will adopt a consultative, solution-based sales approach across a wide range of industries. You will develop new client relationships directly, while also leveraging introductions from leading partner banks, brokers, and introducers.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent the business in a professional and ethical manner.
* Generate new business in line with agreed targets.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, introducers, and bank partners.
* Manage and convert new business leads provided by Market Management.
* Self-prospect and manage a local CRM database to generate new opportunities.
* Provide feedback on the quality of leads from Market Management.
* Deliver accurate and timely management information on a regular basis.
Requirements
* Proven track record in a consultative B2B sales role.
* Strong hunter mentality with the ability to self-generate opportunities.
* Experience selling professional services or solutions (insurance or financial services desirable, but not essential).
* Highly organised and able to work effectively from home.
* Strong relationship management skills, particularly with banks and brokers.
