The very reason for this hire is a back fill due to a promotion.
This specific hire is for their site in South London / North Surrey and will take full accountability for a small team and be responsible for maintenance, servicing and take a strong involvement in engineering projects.
This is a hands on management position that requires versatility, flexibility and an ability to solve problems – it’s a small person team and therefore the key is that you can get stuck in and are willing to take on a number of the duties directly on a day to day basis.
The standard hours are 7am to 3pm Mon‑Fri – but you need to be flexible as there will be call outs (including nights and weekends). Overtime/TOIL is available.

Key Experience
* Hands on experience in a hands on engineering / maintenance setting – must be within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Pharmaceutical and/or GMP experience would be a nice to have but is not essential
* Supervisory experience ideal but not essential if you have the depth of technical experience and the capability to manage
* Must live (or be willing to live) within one hour of the facility due to call out requirements
* Mechanical and electrical engineering capability would be beneficial
