About the Role The SENCO will lead the strategic management of SEND provision, ensuring that every student receives tailored support to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include coordinating EHCPs, overseeing intervention programmes, liaising with external agencies, and guiding teachers in adaptive and inclusive classroom practice. The role also involves delivering staff training on differentiation, behaviour strategies, and assistive technology, as well as mentoring teaching assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
