GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a highly recognisable, leading industrial company in Pershore. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for someone to join their team as a Projects Warehouse Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our client is a UK-based manufacturing and supply chain specialist providing equipment, support, and technical services to a wide range of industry sectors globally. They are currently expanding their Projects Division and are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Technician to support project builds, assemblies, and deliveries.
Hours for this position: Monday to Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm with a starting salary of up to £32,000 per annum.
Projects Warehouse Technician main duties:
* Receiving, inspecting, and accurately booking in project-related goods.
* Managing storage locations and ensuring full traceability of project stock.
* Preparing components for project assembly in line with build schedules.
* Monitoring incoming parts and supporting the Projects Team in managing delivery timelines.
* Carrying out light in-house assembly work, including fitting, labelling, and packaging
* Conducting basic functional tests as required
* Supporting final inspection checks prior to dispatch to ensure components are complete and conform to project requirements.
* Coordinating project deliveries to meet scheduled dispatch dates.
* Preparing and packaging finished assemblies, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
* Collating documentation packs, certificates, and labels required for project deliveries.
* Maintaining accurate stock and movement records in Sage 200 to ensure full traceability.
* Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Projects Team to ensure smooth communication and project fulfilment.
* Attending regular project meetings and updating progress on warehouse and assembly activities.
Projects Warehouse Technician desired skills and experience:
* Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or assembly environment.
* Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple project deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and order accuracy.
* Good IT skills; experience with Sage 200 or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
* Ability to read and follow assembly instructions or technical documents.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Experience working with valves, actuators, or technical assemblies – desirable.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 processes and documentation – desirable.
* Forklift licence – advantageous but not essential.
