Role Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join its well‑regarded Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and high‑profile contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, with a particular focus on the health and social care sector.
The role offers exposure to strategic advisory work, employment tribunal litigation and workforce change projects, including reorganisations and redundancies within a heavily regulated environment.
The position is based in the firm's Southampton office.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
* Be a qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE in employment law.
* Have experience handling both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
* Must be confident undertaking the day‑to‑day conduct of Employment Tribunal litigation.
* Demonstrate strong technical ability, sound judgement and excellent communication skills.
* Have an interest in business development and marketing, supported by an established client services function.
