We have served the Jewish community since 1840. We have two care homes, Nightingale House in Clapham and Hammerson House in East Finchley. The Role As Senior Nurse you will be in the front line of care, supporting Health Care Assistants in providing the best care possible. For 37.5 hours a week your time will be split between nursing duties and household shifts. What will your typical day involve? Leading by example for Health Care Assistants through Relationship Centred Care, involvement with residents, and attention to Jewish practice. Deputising for the Household Manager in their absence, promoting and maintaining a good working relationship with all teams. Dealing with accidents, incidents, and complaints that occur with residents, team members, or visitors, recording them and reporting as appropriate to the Household Manager. Helping create, review, and audit care and risk plans through regular meetings and close attention. Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members in order to maximise their potential. Who are we looking for? If you desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others, please keep reading ahead You must be a registered Nurse or Mental Health Nurse. You will have experience in team supervision within a nursing or social care setting, including experience in assessments, care plans, and the Mental Capacity Act. You will be able to multi-task, completing duties promptly and in a timely manner.
