IGA Talent Solutions have partnered with a Midlands based local government client to support them in finding a Head of Projects & Change on a permanent basis. In this role youll work closely with the Execs and wider teams to develop & implement the Project & Change strategy to meet the business needs and objectives.
You will lead and manage the organisations Projects & Change roadmap, ensuring delivery of appropriate project and change initiatives, including identification and resourcing of these agendas. You will have responsibility for Portfolio planning & PMO, business analysis, project delivery and change management, whilst keeping track of benefits realisation to demonstrate ROI for the organisation.
Key skills & experience:
* Experience successfully leading, managing and developing a project & change function would be highly desirable and a proven team-player.
* Experience managing large scale transformation projects including system and process changes.
* Evidence of successful stakeholder management and leadership qualities.
* A track record of developing people and organisational capabilities.
* Experience of operational budget management.
* Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to align projects with business objectives.
* Adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguous, complex change environments.
* Self-motivated and constantly striving for continuous improvement and learning.
