Head of Sales - B2B Events / London / £150k OTE / Hybrid
A market-leading international events and content company is seeking a Head of Sales to lead the strategic growth of a high-performing portfolio. This is a senior-level, revenue-generating role for a driven sales leader with strong B2B experience, ideally in sponsorship sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of 4 sponsorship sales executives.
* Personally generate revenue via high-value sponsorship sales.
* Drive the strategic development of sponsorship revenue across the division.
* Recruit, coach, and mentor new sales hires.
* Deliver structured training and development initiatives across the team.
* Lead weekly forecasting and performance reviews with senior management.
* Oversee the growth of both mature and emerging sector offerings.
* Provide input into product development and new commercial opportunities.
* Collaborate with other sales leaders across the business to share best practices.
* Consistently exceed revenue targets while championing a performance-led culture.
About You:
* Proven track record in B2B sponsorship or solution-led sales, ideally within events.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing sales teams.
* Commercially strategic and results oriented.
* Comfortable selling into both established and developing markets.
* A confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
