Job Description
The Credit Controller duties include:
3. Managing a high‑volume ledger and proactively collecting overdue payments
4. Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email to agreed targets
5. Resolving invoice queries, disputes, and payment discrepancies efficiently
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer contacts
7. Updating account notes and maintaining accurate credit control records
8. Monitoring aged debt and escalating high‑risk accounts where required
9. Supporting cash flow through effective and consistent credit management
10. Assisting with reporting and ad‑hoc finance tasks as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Immediately available or short notice to start
12. Proven experience in a credit control/receivables role
13. Strong IT skills, with particular confidence using Excel
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
15. The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
