The role primarily focuses on research and development across three key areas: environmental impact, enhanced animal welfare and resource optimisation.Key Responsibilities:Analyse market demands and emerging technologies to uncover new product opportunitiesEvaluate potential raw materials and create lab-scale prototype formulations based on research insightsAssess ingredient compatibility and stability across different conditionsDesign and implement chemical processes for the development of new animal nutrition and veterinary productsEnhance existing products and processes to boost yield, efficacy and cost-efficiencyDevelop analytical techniques to track reaction progress and ensure product qualityCollaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth technology transferPrepare technical documentation, including batch records and regulatory submissionsIdentify process deviations and apply corrective actions for resolutionKey requirements:MS/PhD in Chemistry or related fieldGood communication skillsAttention to detailPrior experience of managing multiple projectsStrong understanding of organic synthesis and analytical techniquesExperience with GMP regulations and pharmacopeial standardsProven experience of process optimisation and scale-upUnderstanding of chemical engineering principlesThe package:This role will give the successful candidate a huge opportunity for career progression and development, along with a base salary up to £35k, 33 days annual leave and pension scheme.
