The Role
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop robust business models, prepare proposals, and negotiate agreements.
Responsibilities
* Explore innovative commercial solutions in technology and software fields
* Engage in early programme lifecycle stages
* Draft commercial bids and proposals, working cross-functionally
* Build and maintain customer relationships
* Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and IPR
* Manage obligations and risks with partners and suppliers
* Report contract progress to senior management
* Prioritize health and safety in activities
* Perform other duties as required
Skills
Essential
* Experience in contract negotiations and stakeholder solutions
* Knowledge of early product lifecycle commercial activities
* Contract management and change control experience
* Effective cross-functional collaboration
* Strong communication skills
Desirable
* Experience with international markets
* Experience in aerospace or defence
Personal Attributes
* UK right to work or British citizenship
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
* Teamwork skills
* Security clearance eligibility (5 years UK residence)
