We are supporting a client based in Dubai that is looking for an SVP of business development to be based in the UK and focus on emerging markets.

The SVP will support the Chief Business Development Officer in identifying new markets, attracting new clients, maintaining existing relationships, and providing exceptional client service. This role requires significant leadership, independent thinking, and proactive decision making.

Key Responsibilities

* Client Development: Identify prospective clients, pursue new business opportunities, meet KPIs for new applications, understand client needs, and develop market entry strategies
* Support Department Objectives: Manage strategic clients, assist with long-term planning, recommend process improvements, and develop team engagement
* Client Management: Build deep client relationships, understand operational requirements, create strong referral processes, and coordinate client setup activities
* Industry events: network with industry councils, maintain brand image, and develop new opportunities
* Team Leadership: Coach team members, upgrade skill sets, conduct performance evaluations, and manage workload

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
* 10 years of experience in Business Development and Client Management
* 6 years of managerial experience in similar organization
* Strong knowledge of Financial Services industry
* Fluent in English
