Our company offers a dynamic work environment that values teamwork, trust, and innovation. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a Production Engineer to join our expanding team.
Role & Responsibilities
* Design, implement and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency and quality
* Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
* Collaborate with design, quality and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
* Support the introduction of new products into production
* Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision‑making
* Provide video analysis and best‑practice guidance for operators on the shop floor
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is a bonus
* Proven experience as a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineer in a production or manufacturing environment
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques
* Ability to provide training and develop shop‑floor operators
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Job Tenure: Permanent
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + excellent training and development
Location: Bridgend
