Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Division to work on the wards as a receptionist for CCTSS. You shall be the only receptionist on the ward and will be responsible for admin work, filing, making appointments and other clerical duties expected by a ward. You may also be asked to cover other wards within the surgical division to ensure services are covered. This will be Mon - Fri 08:00 - 14:00.
Responsibilities
 * Provide a professional front of house and telephone service. Answer enquiries and relay messages, in person and on the telephone, from patients, visitors and hospital staff, using knowledge of hospital procedures to maintain a professional front of house service.
 * Meet the needs of the service and take into account special requirements.
 * Process all admissions and discharges on the system; maintain patient case notes and file into the case notes.
 * Provide patients with appointments when requested and liaise with ward staff and other multi-disciplinary teams.
Requirements
 * Administrative and clerical duties typical of a ward receptionist; previous reception/clerical experience is desirable.
 * Note: This role does not meet the Home Office requirements for visa sponsorship.
