What You’ll Do
The Pre-Sales Service Consultant will assist Solution and Sales colleagues in developing the service model for a solution. This includes developing bid inputs such as providing written responses to tenders and customer clarification questions. You will respond to requests for service capabilities from the customer and be accountable for demand generation activities, proactively creating new opportunities to sell that enhance both the customer experience and the value of the opportunity to VBSE.
* Assist in sales qualification through evaluation of requirements against options.
* Identify cost elements for delivery and support of solutions.
* Responsible for service support during commercial discussions.
* Assist the sales team during bid discussions with the customer.
* Liaise with Product Management and other subject matter experts.
* Engage the Delivery team and ensure customer project sign-off.
Security Clearance: This position requires the eligibility and ability to obtain and hold UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
Who you are
* Mastery of ITILv3 or v4, preferably with certification.
* Experience as a senior/lead Service Consultant or Architect on complex customer opportunities and programs.
* Willingness to develop and adapt to meet changing client and market expectations.
* Good leadership skills, capable of leading and growing teams.
* Ability to work in a matrix organization and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
