Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit an Interim Facilities & Maintenance Manager for their Belfast site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to step into a key role during a period of growth and change, taking immediate ownership of site services and maintenance operations.
The Role
As Interim Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site's facilities function, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and efficiency.
This is a hands-on position requiring a strong on-site presence, where you will be expected to quickly assess current operations, address issues, and implement effective short-term solutions while supporting ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all site services including maintenance, security, cleaning and waste management
2. Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing etc.) are operating effectively
3. Respond to maintenance issues and implement corrective actions promptly
4. Coordinate contractors and service providers on-site
5. Maintain compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards
6. Support ongoing site projects, upgrades and relocations
7. Review current maintenance practices and implement improvements where required
8. Manage reactive and planned maintenance activities to minimise downtime
What You'll Need
9. Proven experience in a Facilities or Maintenance Manager role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
10. Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
11. Experience managing contractors and site services
12. Ability to quickly assess situations and implement practical solutions
13. Available to start at short notice / immediately preferred
