This role sits in The Energy unit, which delivers services to clients globally across hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. We provide integrated engineering and project management across the project lifecycle to support the energy transition globally.

Overview of Role: We’re looking for a highly motivated Digital Visualisation Specialist to support a major UK programme of work. This long-term, complex project offers an opportunity to become a key part of the team and delivery success. You will drive adoption of immersive environments and virtual technologies within our engineering and delivery teams, trialling, formalising, and embedding value-adding processes, including stakeholder engagement. You will help coordinate with engineering and planning teams to improve the delivery of 4D models for all stages of the project lifecycle, with the 4D plan being key to successful delivery. Reporting to the Energy Digital Delivery Lead, you will work with project functional leads to facilitate the use of virtual technologies and provide integrated Digital Rehearsal services for the programme.


Responsibilities

* Support implementation of Digital Rehearsal across the programme
* Support effective communication to ensure relevant teams input on and understand the Digital Rehearsal strategy and approach
* Assist with design reviews, safety reviews, and stakeholder sessions using immersive environments
* Assist with enabling immersive collaboration across digital and engineering teams
* Support VR hardware adoption, training, and documentation


Candidate specification


Essential

* Proven experience in a BIM or planning role within the energy or construction sector
* Several years of experience on large-scale or high-value projects
* Familiarity with 4D construction sequencing
* Understanding of virtual reality (VR) and immersive environments
* Willingness to learn and grow in digital technologies
* Strong collaboration skills, with experience working with Clients, Engineers, Planners, Contractors, Operators
* Commitment to delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail

Beneficial technical knowledge/experience (not mandatory):

* Experience with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit
* Experience with planning software such as Primavera P6 or Bentley SYNCHRO
* Exposure to rendering/animation software such as Unity or Unreal Engine
* Ability to drive and influence key individuals to deliver to the plan
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
* Confidence presenting to external stakeholder bodies
* Commitment to continuous professional development

Note: Offers for this role are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security Clearance.
