WISHH Charity Fundraising Coordinator

Position Summary: The WISHH Charity requires an experienced fundraising coordinator to develop and manage diverse fundraising campaigns, engage patients, visitors, and the local community, and deliver a positive supporter experience that upholds the Charity’s values.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the main link between the Charity, hospital employees and the local community.
* Build an understanding of NHS donor audiences and deliver a seamless donor experience.
* Collaborate closely with Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital staff.
* Lead fundraising projects and initiatives independently, ensuring compliance with charity law and Charity guidelines.
* Engage local volunteers and manage major fundraising campaigns.
Qualifications
* Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
* Specialist fundraising and/or marketing qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the charity/fundraising sector.
Experience
* Proven track record of generating significant philanthropic income.
* Experience in fundraising strategy development and major donor recruitment.
* Strong report writing and presentation skills.
* Data handling and charity database management.
* Team working and volunteer management experience.

* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Creative partnership development.
* Strategic thinking and sound judgement.
* Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to create publicity and fundraising materials.
* Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics.
* Experience with cloud‑based graphic design software.
