Introduction
Inleaf is a growing office plant and interior landscaping company based in Chorley, Lancashire. We work with clients nationwide to create greener, more inspiring environments using living plants, moss walls, living walls, and seasonal displays.
We're now looking for a Plant Display Installation & Maintenance Technician to join our friendly and supportive team.
The role
You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining beautiful living plant displays and living walls at client sites, ensuring they are healthy, vibrant, and well cared for. The role also includes assembling and installing other creative features such as moss walls, living walls, Christmas decorations, and artificial arrangements.
This is a hands-on, rewarding and varied role with opportunities to travel, work on unique projects, and grow your skills.
Travel & Working Away
This role includes regular travel across the UK and working away from home, sometimes for multiple days or at a time (e.g. Monday to Friday). Other weeks may involve little or no travel depending on workload and project locations.
Travel and high-quality accommodation are covered, and additional allowances and expenses are paid during overnight stays. Many of our team enjoy the variety of projects, exploring new locations, and working on interesting projects outside the usual routine.

Driving & City Work
This role includes daily driving in company vehicles, so you'll need to be:
* Comfortable driving long distances across the UK
* Confident driving in busy city centres
* Able to find parking and unload equipment safely in urban areas
We'll provide guidance and support, but it's important that you're calm, responsible, and capable behind the wheel, especially when navigating tight city spaces or managing early morning starts.
Main Responsibilities
* Assembling plant displays and systems at our Chorley HQ
* Installing living walls, moss walls, and other plant features
* Maintaining and caring for living plant displays at client sites
* Watering, feeding, pruning and replacing plants as needed
* Installing Christmas trees and decorations during the festive season
* Using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, mitre saws) safely
* Recording job updates using our software system
* Complying with company health & safety procedures
About you
This is a client-facing role, so we're looking for someone with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude who takes pride in their work and enjoys providing great service.
You might not be a plant expert (yet), but if you're hands-on, practical, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need.

Where you'll be based
The role is based from our our 5,000sqft head office in Chorley, Lancashire and in the field, servicing clients across the UK.
Working hours
* Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 (30-minute lunch)
* Some overtime and early starts/late returns possible
Salary & benefits
* Base salary of £29,000
* All working time captured and overtime paid at £14 per hour
* £25-£30 per night paid for any overnight stays
* Up to £25 per night meal allowances paid for overnight stays
* Typical gross salary therefore between £29,000-£31,000 per year
