A lovely, close-knit primary school in the borough of Camdenis on the lookout for a warm and proactive KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September. If you've got a knack for making phonics fun, supporting growing minds, and adding calm to a busy classroom—we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils across Year 1 or Year 2 with learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to help build confidence and understanding
* Supporting children with mild SEND needs as part of inclusive provision
* Collaborating with the class teacher to create a caring, consistent environment
What We're Looking For
* Experience supporting children in a KS1 classroom
* A patient, encouraging and flexible approach to learning support
* Good understanding of phonics and early literacy strategies
* A DBS on the update service (or happy to apply)
* Thrive trained? Even better! If not, we offer free access to Thrive training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
