Job Description
Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel is currently recruiting for Maintenance Manager to join our Team. We are looking for a talented leader who has a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience and a desire to learn and grow within our team.

The Role:
Take responsibility for all maintenance throughout the hotel, hand on role
Manage on site contractors ensuring health and safety compliance is adhered to
Maintaining hotel bedroom and front of house areas to brand standard
Assist with customer requests in an efficient and professional manner
Liaise with all departments in the hotel to ensure effective communication
Manage cost within budgeted guidelines within the maintenance department
Preparation and communication of property reports for hotel
Will include some operational shifts in other hotel departments with being a small hotel operation
Experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance/ Property Refurbishments
What we need from you:
Understand hotel property compliance
Able to carry out property maintenance as required
Competent level of computer skills
Intermediate level of health and safety compliance for hotels.
Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
Enthusiastic approach to work and problem solving
