Job Summary
The Senior Shoot Producer will commission and produce high‑quality fashion still‑life photography and video for all NET‑A‑PORTER content, including brand campaigns, editorial, social, video, brand partnerships and corporate shoots. The role leads a team of Shoot Assistants, ensuring delivery to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage pre‑production, on‑set production and post‑production for stills and video, coordinating with the Head of Photoshotos, Fashion and Art teams, and booking all talent, locations and logistics.
* Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, hair and makeup artists, set designers and talent agents to secure top talent.
* Leverage international production contacts to manage large‑scale overseas productions.
* Negotiate market rates and secure best possible terms with photographers, agents and agencies.
* Plan shoot budgets and ensure image usage rights are correctly secured and maximised across the business.
* Line‑manage Shoot Assistants, providing training, mentorship and overseeing their financial and administrative duties.
* Support the Head of Photoshoot Production on larger shoots and departmental management.
* Troubleshoot and delegate operational issues, ensuring timely completion of processes.
* Advance the shoots team by nurturing talent progression.
* Collaborate with creative and art directors to align content with brand and market standards.
* Adapt resourcefully to changing budgets, timelines and priorities.
* Produce production schedules and timing plans that sync with content and creative calendars.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Supervise image delivery, crediting and retouching, maintain usage contracts and references.
* Apply comprehensive knowledge of copyright legislation to ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Solid understanding of the luxury fashion industry.
* Experience managing production in a fast‑paced environment.
* Depth of experience with high‑calibre talent and artist portfolios.
* Professional, discreet, with excellent communication and networking skills.
* Strong relationships with top‑tier photographers and talent agents.
* Significant casting experience for high‑end fashion shoots.
* Problem‑solving mindset, organised, enthusiastic, detail‑oriented, calm under pressure, self‑motivated.
* Proficient in budgeting and finance management.
* Good understanding of NET‑A‑PORTER aesthetic and tone.
* Excellent attendance and time‑management skills.
* Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Photoshop & design applications is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel on short notice and outside office hours.
