This role offers the chance to make a real impact by partnering with operations and driving performance improvements. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the European Head of Business Performance, you will act as a key business partner to Operations Management and Site Teams. Your role will focus on delivering accurate financial reporting, providing insight into operational performance, and supporting new product innovation through robust costing processes. This is a hands-on role for a qualified Management Accountant with FMCG experience, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business. Key Duties & Responsibilities Ensure accurate accounting of operational costs and stock across the European business unit. Develop and deliver fit-for-purpose weekly and monthly reporting of the Operations P&L, including commentary and insight for stakeholders. Work with operations teams to ensure daily production reporting reflects operational performance. Provide financial reporting on stock usage and losses and prepare stock provision calculations. Complete balance sheet reconciliations for stock to maintain data integrity. Be a visible support to Operations teams, presenting financial performance on a regular basis Drive alignment between production reporting and ERP systems Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Generate accurate and robust product costings for the NPD process, ensuring efficiency and timely inputs to minimise rework. The Individual Qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent) with business partnering experience. Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to build credibility across the business and secure buy-in for performance improvement initiatives. Highly organised, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills, with the ability to provide insight to non-finance colleagues. Advanced Excel skills and confidence with ERP and management reporting systems.
