The business delivers new build, refurbishment and fit‑out schemes across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex, with projects typically ranging from £5 million to £20 million.They operate across a balanced mix of sectors, includingmercial offices, industrial and logistics facilities, schools and colleges,munity buildings, healthcare environments, and leisure schemes. The contractor is known for practical delivery, collaborative working, and a sensible, quality‑focused approach to construction.Role OverviewThe Tender Planner will support all front‑end planning activity, working closely with postreconstructive, estimating, design and operations teams to develop clear, realistic and well‑structured tender programmes. Your work will help shape methodology, identify risks, and set the foundations for successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare tender programmes for projects between £5m and £20m
2. Review drawings, specifications and technical information to build logic‑based schedules
3. Work with internal teams to define sequencing, methodology and key milestones
4. Develop phasing, logistics considerations and outline construction strategies
5. Produce programme narratives and supporting planning documentation for tender submissions
6. Attend internal tender reviews and meetings with design teams and operational leads
7. Provide programme insight during project handover once bids are secured
What We’re Looking For
8. Experience in planning within a main contractor environment
9. Ability to plan at tender stage acrossmercial, education, industrial or similar sectors
10. Strong understanding of construction sequencing and buildability
11. Ability to identify risk and propose practical solutions early
12. Experience using Asta Powerproject or similar planning tools
13. Clearmunicator with a structured, methodical approach
