What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team in Liverpool. This position requires close co-operation with all of the Online Investment Services team members, as well as interaction with all other operational areas across the entire business and stakeholder departments, to deliver a high quality end- client service for the Bestinvest Direct project.
There is a necessity to deliver high performing, quality services that ensures consumer outcomes are core to delivery against key performance indicators, business goals and objectives. Working collaboratively with peers to drive consistency and cultural alignment with the brand. The role requires someone who is commercially aware & strategic in operational approach with great planning, organisational and communication skills, and an excellent communicator who can adapt to deliver first-class service to our clients.
As an Operations Executive - Bestinvest, your responsibilities will include among others:
* Investigate & respond to any incoming queries via telephone
* Ensure all Operational deliverables are actioned on time in accordance with service level agreements, agreed quality standards, regulatory & company requirements.
* Adhere to all HMRC and FCA regulations including CASS & COBS rules and all Company policies and procedures
* Understand the client on-boarding process and enrichment of client accounts
* Maintain accurate client data on all platforms and process transfer requests on the custody platform
* Closure/archiving of records on XPLAN
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Previous call handling experience and demonstrable interest in financial services would be an advantage.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
* Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner and solve problems quickly with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines, with a flexible approach to team priorities.
* Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
Desired:
* Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
* For candidates with no relevant experience, Scottish Higher / GCSE's (or equivalent) at level C or higher in relevant subject.
* Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential.
