A leading Central London fit out and refurbishment contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the existing commercial team on a £70m flagship commercial refurbishment scheme.
This is a high-profile, technically demanding project delivered for an institutional client, involving major structural reconfiguration alongside high-quality Cat A / Cat B fit out works. The role is offered on an above-market day rate, reflecting the scale, complexity and pace of the scheme.
You’ll be site-based, reporting into a Commercial Manager, running key subcontractor packages and managing a high volume of change on a live Central London project.
The Role
• Project QS role on a £70m commercial refurbishment scheme
• Supporting an established site-based commercial team
• Running and owning subcontractor packages end-to-end
• Managing a high volume of variations and change control
• Core duties include procurement, valuations, CVRs, cost reporting and subcontractor accounts
• Working closely with site teams, consultants and client representatives on a live project
What they’re looking for
• Project-level Quantity Surveyor (or strong Intermediate ready to operate at project level)
• Main contractor background on commercial fit out or refurbishment schemes
• Confident managing subcontractor packages and commercial change
• Solid knowledge of JCT contracts and live project commercial control
• Organised, calm and delivery-focused — comfortable in fast-moving site environments
