About The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Civil and Structural Engineering team in Manchester as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme. You’ll help deliver sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society. As a Stantec graduate, you’ll collaborate across disciplines in a creative environment, supported by office and technical colleagues with guidance from senior staff within our open and collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to concept and scheme design, modelling, detailed design, specifications, and drawings.
* Prepare reports and provide advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
* Undertake STEM engagement activities.
* Liaise with internal and external team members, developing relationships and people skills.
* Manage your own workload to meet project deadlines.
* Engage with the wider Civil & Structural division, the Technical Leadership Team, and the Carbon Task Force to share best practice and support ongoing initiatives.
* Arrange and attend meetings, take minutes, and track actions.
* Attend site to undertake inspections and walkovers.
* Develop commercial awareness by assisting with proposals and tenders for new work.
About You (Qualifications & Qualities)

Working Pattern
To ensure the right level of support and development, graduates are asked to attend the office a minimum of four days per week.
