This role will give you the opportunity to try:
* Welding
at our site in Solihull.
You will get to apply what you learn at college in the workplace, becoming a skilled engineer working in Production to build bespoke tankers, training alongside experienced staff.
The apprenticeship lasts 36-42 months at Level 3.
You will receive on-site training and support from our provider (Make UK), with ongoing assistance.
Your working week will be full-time, 37.5 hours, on a rotating shift pattern after day release.
Study time and support will be provided during working hours.
End point assessments will be conducted by an approved independent assessment organization.
You should have or be predicted to achieve a Level 4 in English and Maths GCSEs.
This role will give you insight into how our products are built from start to finish.
We operate a rotating shift pattern from year 2 of your apprenticeship:
Week 1 – 6:00 – 14:00, Monday to Friday
Week 2 – 14:00 – 22:30, Monday to Thursday, and 14:00 – 19:30 on Friday
(timings may vary depending on the work area)
