KM3 POSITION PURPOSE The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the EMEA Shared Services Team, supporting the Operational Risk and Change Management program for Global Investment Operations (GIO). This role requires collaboration with a wide range of business partners across the firm, including Risk, Compliance, Investment Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Investment Compliance, Investment Performance, and Regulatory Reporting. The successful candidate will be an adaptable all-rounder, capable of managing diverse tasks, issues, and subject matters across GIO. This high-visibility position involves working on complex issues and requests, acting as a liaison to Investments, Legal, Auditors, Third-party service providers, and Regulators to mitigate compliance and risk-related concerns. Additional responsibilities include incident management and reporting, business continuity, data privacy, and access controls. The Senior Analyst will report directly to the Director – Shared Services EMEA and will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of operational processes within GIO. Principal Responsibilities Incident Management: Serve as Incident Coordinator for GIO EMEA, ensuring effective remediation of incidents, identification of root causes, and recommendation of solutions to prevent recurrence. Maintain incident logs and produce regular reports for management review. Risk & Compliance: Monitor compliance across the business line, identify and report on risks arising from business activities, and collaborate with business units to implement mitigation strategies. Support internal and external audits as required. CASS Oversight: Ensure GIO’s adherence to CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook) regulation, coordinate the reimbursement of impacted accounts, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes. Projects and Change Management: Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead project and change initiatives across GIO. Support the implementation of new processes, systems, and controls to enhance operational effectiveness. Vendor Oversight: Monitor and assess the performance of external vendors, ensuring service levels are met and risks are managed. Participate in vendor selection and review processes. Data Management: Act as owner of the Broker Data Domain on behalf of GIO, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards. Tool Management: Utilize and champion tools such as AI, DUCO, and Power BI to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and reduce risk. Provide training and support to colleagues on the effective use of these tools. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years’ experience in Investment Operations, Middle Office, or Operational Risk roles. Relevant degree and/or significant sector experience. Understanding of CASS regulations and their application within investment operations. Adaptability and willingness to cover other specialist areas as business needs dictate. Proven ability to work effectively and make sound decisions under pressure and within tight deadlines. Proactive approach to researching issues and driving them through to resolution. Demonstrated experience supporting departmental projects and initiatives, including change management. Strong analytical, research, audit, and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both within operations and on the investment side of the business. Fluency in English, both oral and written. Advanced IT skills, including proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and relevant technologies such as MS Co-Pilot. Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Understanding of, or exposure to, the role of outsource providers within investment operations.
