Retail Security Officer – M&S
Location: Kendal
Salary: £13.58 per hour. Guaranteed 40+ hours per week.
Candidate must have 5 years trackable working history in the UK.
Role Overview
Creating Safe, Welcoming And Exceptional Store Experiences. As an M&S Security Officer, you will be part of the store team, delivering professionalism, reassurance and customer service. We look for professional, people‑focused individuals who remain calm under pressure and create positive moments through everyday interactions.
Responsibilities
* Creating a visible, welcoming and reassuring presence within the store
* Supporting customers and colleagues professionally and confidently
* Responding appropriately to incidents, theft and security concerns
* Helping de‑escalate challenging situations calmly and respectfully
* Working collaboratively with store teams as part of the wider M&S environment
* Delivering high standards of professionalism, communication and customer service at all times
